Kingston Lightning Youth Soccer Club

Kingston Soccer is proud to announce that we are forming spring soccer teams, U8 through U16!  There will be an in-person sign-up on Saturday the 21st from 8:30 until 3:30 at the Kingston Recreation Center.  On-line registration will open February 1st and will remain open until March 10th.  The flyer is located in our handouts page and will give additional information and pricing. 

Spring soccer sign-up has been canceled for today.  We will do the in-person registration next weekend, 1/28/12.  See you then!

Welcome to Kingston Lightning Soccer. Those of you who have been with us in past seasons know how we operate and to new parents and children, we want to thank you for joining our club and we hope it is an enjoyable season for everyone. KYSA is a club which is run by parent volunteers and sponsored by local companies who want to give children the opportunity to play recreational soccer in Kingston.

KYSA holds their Recreation Board meeting on the third Thursday of every month at 7pm at Grotto Pizza in Edwardsville.  These are open meetings and you should feel free to attend. Any suggestions for the league are aired at these meetings and all are welcome.

1. When does the rec season start?

U6 and U8 starts in Mid August and ends at the end of October.

U9 and Up start in the begining of August and ends in the begining of November.

2. When and where do rec games occurr?

U6 and U8 are on Sunday afternoons at Hamilton Park.

U9 and Up are on Saturday mornings and afternoons. The location of the game depends on the team you are playing and if it is home or away.  Home games for U9 and U10 are played at the old Price Chopper Field.  U11 and Up Home games are played at the Forty Fort Fields, which is located by the airport off of Wyoming Avenue.

3. Where and when do rec practices occur?

U6 once (depending on coach), a week at Hamilton Park.

U8 once (depending on coach), a week at Hamiliton Park.

U9/U10 once or twice a week, (depending on coach), at the old Price Chopper field.

U11 and up once or twice a week,(depending on coach), at Church Street Park.
